Richmond Lodge can provide you with ADSL broadband internet access during your stay. This is particularly handy when you are on a business trip. Perhaps your children like to play inter-networked games or you would like to pay your bills via your BPAY or Internet Banking service. Whatever your requirements, ADSL broadband internet access is available for your convenience.
 
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
To access the ADSL service at Richmond Lodge, you will require a laptop with a network card the ability to connect to a category 5 cable. We have some cables  at our office if you do not have  one.

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is a new super-fast technology. It allows you to access data services using your PC at significantly higher speeds than you are probably used to. With most modems in use offering up to 56 kbps speed, ADSL technology is light years ahead!

Massive graphics and even interactive videos can be received over the Internet at speeds up to 1.5 Mbps – that's many times faster than current analogue modems! That's incredibly fast!

Richmond Lodge have invested in a Hewlett Packard managed switch that allows us to read the amount of megabytes downloaded by each individual customer using our internet services. We are, therefore, pleased to offer this service on download & not on time. COST We offer a generous 20 megabytes free per day with downloads charged at 20 cents per megabyte thereafter, if available from our monthly quota. Most guests would find this more than adequate for their internet requirements & would not incur any additional charges.
